The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and Domineum Blockchain Solutions have collaborated to create the NITDA Blockchain Scholarship, 2022 Scheme. The program intends to educate blockchain technology to 30,000 Nigerians so that they can pursue careers in new technologies.
About NITDA-Blockchain Scholarship
Every Nigerian who wishes to learn blockchain digital skills is eligible for this scholarship opportunity and should apply for it. The NITDA has begun a large mission to train one million software developers in the nation as part of its ongoing commitment to providing enormous employment prospects through digital skills.
The NITDA Blockchain Scholarship (NBS) program will therefore give participants the chance to learn new skills that will help them advance their businesses.
Africa has the chance to close the technological gap with other continents by becoming early adopters and experts in the blockchain business while blockchain technology is still in its infancy and ushers in the fourth industrial revolution.
Kashifu Inuwa CCIE, the Director General/CEO of NITDA, announced the program during the Blockchain-day of the “Digital Nigeria” event held on the 26th of October 2022. He stated the program will “accelerate blockchain adoption in Nigeria and make Nigeria a worldwide participant in the blockchain business.”
In order to be among the first to deliver solutions in the fourth industrial revolution, he urged Nigerians to utilize the scholarship.
Domineum Blockchain Solutions is the program’s implementing partner, and BSV Blockchain Academy is in charge of creating the course materials.
Scholarship Value and Benefits
The program will be delivered utilizing a hybrid distribution strategy in all of the Federation’s states (virtual and in-person gatherings). Outstanding project teams will be given the opportunity to engage in a London incubation program, while other teams will be introduced to the BSV Ecosystem, where they will be able to participate in future initiatives.

Requirements for NITDA Blockchain Scholarships
