A Place for Mom offers a Senior Care Scholarship video contest scholarship which is only available each year, to students from the United States and Canada. Eligible applicants should have more interest in the fields of aging and gerontology.
Although, there are up to five awards available, each worth up to $2,000. To apply, all applicants must submit an essay on the given topic question.
About The Scholarship
A Place for Mom is pleased to offer an annual scholarship to university students studying aging and gerontology. We understand the importance of supporting the training and education of our future senior care leaders as North America’s largest senior living referral service. This scholarship will be given to a citizen or permanent resident of the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec) who is currently enrolled and taking classes at an accredited college or university in the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec).
Scholarship Value
Each successful applicant who applied for A Place for Mom offers a Senior Care Scholarship will receive amount up to $2,000 in prize
Level and Area of Studies.
Undergraduate and graduate degrees in a field related to medicine, nursing, or social sciences.
Place of Study
Students must be studying in the United States or Canada.
Eligibility Criteria For A Place for Mom Scholarship 2023
To be eligible, all students must meet all of the following criteria:
- All candidates must be enrolled in graduate or undergraduate programs in the fields listed above. Please keep in mind that you must be enrolled in classes at an accredited college or university at the time of the spring deadline.
- Employees of A Place for Mom, as well as members of their immediate family (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside), and persons living in the same household, whether related or not, of such employees, are ineligible to apply.
- Applicants must submit a letter of introduction as well as a video on the chosen topic, as well as sign the Scholarship Award Agreement.
- Five students will receive scholarships for writing the most compelling essays as judged by an outside panel of senior living professionals.
Eligible Nationality For A Place for Mom Scholarship 2023-2024
Only students from the United States and Canada are eligible to apply for this scholarship for the 2023/2024 session.
